Good pianist with strongest personality, fantastic Hammond player, intriguing composer, genius in finding out from synthesizers an innovative sound...<br /><br />Talking about Keith Emerson is a really complicated affair. I keep still in my mind and in my heart masterpieces he c0mposed and played between 1968 and 1974: green, fresh and punchy performances with The Nice up to the greatest EL&amp;P, Tarkus, Pictures at an Exhibition, Trilogy... what a magic golden age it was!<br /><br />But, alas, that spell was over in a few years. And genius fell more and more downward up to the point of being nearly removed from people's memory and critics' reviews as well.
